Job Summary

As a Material Manager at Airbus in Manching, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials for the A400M MRO and retrofit programs. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing material requirements and procurement, acting as the primary interface between MRO and supply chain teams, and analyzing spare parts and repair needs. You will generate and implement shortage reports, participate in SQCDP meetings, and collaborate with international stakeholders to drive process improvements. This position requires a strong background in logistics or supply chain management, ideally with specific knowledge of MRO operations and the A400M aircraft. You will benefit from a permanent contract, equal pay according to Airbus tariff models, a 35-hour work week with flexible time accounts, and 30 days of annual leave. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in logistics or supply chain management
  • Professional experience with MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) operational processes
  • Desirable experience with the A400M aircraft platform
