Job Summary

As a System Development Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in the verification and validation of safety-critical and non-safety-critical systems for unmanned aerial vehicles. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve coordinating internal and external test facilities, formulating testable requirements, and developing comprehensive test strategies and plans. You will manage the entire testing lifecycle, from designing experimental setups and instrumentation to executing complex tests, including electrical (ELE), electromagnetic compatibility (EMV/HIRF/HERP), and environmental stress testing. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with development, safety, and certification engineers to ensure compliance with aviation standards. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in conducting certification-relevant tests in the fields of ELE, EMV, and climate testing.
  • Professional experience in requirements engineering and test formulation.
  • Professional experience in system engineering and development processes, specifically the V-Model.
  • Preferred experience with manned aviation development standards.
