As a Materials Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing innovative material concepts for both new equipment and service applications within the energy sector. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include evaluating deviation reports from manufacturing segments, creating and revising material and process specifications to ensure compliance with international standards, and collaborating with design teams to select optimal materials for electromagnetic and structural components. Additionally, you will perform critical damage analysis and root cause investigations. Required Skills

Education

University or College degree (Bachelor or Master) in Materials Engineering

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in industrial materials engineering
  • Experience with unalloyed, low-alloy, and stainless steels, as well as copper alloys
  • Experience with large steel forgings and metal joining techniques
  • Experience in project planning and working within international teams
  • Intercultural experience working with teams in the USA and India is highly desirable
