Job Summary
As the Team Leader for the Technical Building Authority in the municipality of Schwaig, you will oversee the professional and organizational management of the department, including budget planning and cost control. You will act as the primary client representative, managing municipal civil and structural engineering projects by coordinating with external engineering firms and construction companies. Your day-to-day responsibilities include handling renovation and new construction projects across all HOAI service phases, managing funding procedures, and overseeing the procurement and settlement of public construction services. Additionally, you will perform technical reviews of drainage plans for building permit applications. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture, or completed advanced training as a state-certified technician (Bautechniker) or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in civil engineering, architecture, or technical construction management
- Several years of relevant professional experience is preferred
- Experience in managing municipal construction projects and working with external contractors
- Experience in procurement processes and public sector construction law
