Job Summary

This role involves the development of complex hardware for power electronics within the automotive sector. Key responsibilities include specifying passive article-specific components, creating cost-optimized circuit topologies, and optimizing the efficiency of power electronics. The engineer will also be responsible for designing snubbers and dimensioning chokes and transformers, alongside conducting regular cost analyses of power electronic systems. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power electronics and have initial professional experience in a similar capacity. Strong knowledge of PFC circuits, various DC/DC converter topologies, and control algorithms for analog and digital converters is essential. Experience within the automotive environment is a plus, as are excellent German and good English language skills.
