Job Summary
This role within the Austrian Ministry of Social Affairs involves the planning, monitoring, and advancement of IT infrastructure specifically for the Labor Inspectorate. You will be responsible for designing and optimizing relational databases using Microsoft SQL Server, as well as developing internal applications and services to process critical inspection data. A key part of your daily work includes performance tuning, debugging, and supporting the maintenance of mobile iOS applications. The position requires a strong technical background in database management and application development, combined with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a government environment. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the digital transformation of public sector labor inspection processes in a stable, full-time, and permanent capacity.
Required Skills
Education
Relevant University or University of Applied Sciences degree (Master or Bachelor) OR HTL/Matura secondary education degree.
Experience
- 3 years of professional experience in IT with a Master or Bachelor degree
- 5 years of professional experience in IT with an HTL/Matura qualification
- Professional experience in database and application structures
- Professional experience in Windows Server and Client environments
- Experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions
