Job Summary
As a Broadcast and Media Infrastructure Systems Technician based in Berlin, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and evolving the technical backbone of radio and media production. This is not a standard office-based IT administration role; you will be deeply involved in complex IT infrastructures, networking, and the specialized technical world of broadcast environments. Your daily responsibilities will include providing technical support, executing modernization projects, and managing new installations for clients such as radio stations, theaters, and studios across Central and Northern Germany. You will work independently on site while being supported by a collaborative team of engineers. The position is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys technical variety, solving complex problems, and taking ownership of projects from planning to implementation. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training (Ausbildung) in IT or Event Technology, or equivalent practical qualifications.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT or event technology
- Practical experience in managing complex IT infrastructures
- Experience in implementing or supporting broadcast or media systems is considered an advantage
