Job Summary
The City Planning Office of Wiesbaden is seeking an Urban Planner to join the 'Städtebauliche Entwicklungsmaßnahme Ostfeld' department. This role is central to the development of a major new federal agency hub and a sustainable urban district for at least 10,000 residents. You will be responsible for the entire process of implementing urban development goals, independently creating binding land-use plans (Bauleitplanung), and developing innovative concepts for architecture, climate, energy, and mobility. The position involves managing complex master plans, coordinating urban design competitions, and representing planning objectives before municipal committees and the public. You will work within a collaborative, flat-hierarchy team focused on urban innovation. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in urban or spatial planning, demonstrate excellent negotiation and communication skills, and have experience in managing complex development projects. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or equivalent (Diplom) in Urban Planning, Spatial Planning, Environmental Planning, or Architecture. Qualification for the higher technical service (höherer Dienst) is required.
