Job Summary

As a Commissioning Engineer for rail vehicles, you will play a critical role in the testing and validation of train systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing electrical and software-based troubleshooting, executing functional tests, and conducting test runs on dedicated tracks. You will be responsible for installing and connecting electrical components, cabinets, and protective devices, as well as flashing and testing software for various vehicle systems. Documentation is a key component of this role, as you will be required to manage test instructions and detailed reports. This position is ideal for an individual with a background in electrical engineering or mechatronics who enjoys a mix of hands-on mechanical work and technical software analysis. You will work in a permanent, full-time capacity with a focus on continuous professional development and exposure to large-scale mobility projects.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification in an electrical background.

Experience

  • Professional experience in maintenance, commissioning, installation, or testing of technical systems is preferred.
  • Practical experience in electrical and software-based fault analysis.
  • Experience with structured documentation and adherence to testing protocols.
