Job Summary

As a z/OS Systems Programmer at KfW, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our mainframe infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating and executing z/OS system programming tasks, managing BMC AMI Ops and Control-M operations, and ensuring the stability of the Parallel Sysplex environment. You will be responsible for installing, administering, and upgrading z/OS and BMC products, as well as performing proactive maintenance, dump analysis, and troubleshooting. A key part of the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analyses and documenting incidents to ensure seamless operational continuity. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Diploma or Master's) in IT, Telecommunications, or a banking-related field, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Experience with ITILv3 processes and standard IT operational workflows
  • Experience in installation, migration, and maintenance of mainframe environments
