Job Summary

As a Development Engineer for Drive Technology at KHS, you will play a pivotal role in the Electrical Engineering Standardization department. Your primary responsibility involves maintaining and expanding the TIA Motion Project Generator, ensuring it remains at the cutting edge of automation technology. You will be responsible for implementing functions for automated motion object generation, conducting rigorous functional testing for new Siemens TIA versions, and validating complex motion configurations. Beyond development, you will provide technical support to users, troubleshoot complex parameterization errors, and create high-quality documentation. This role is ideal for an analytical engineer who enjoys solving complex motion control challenges and driving standardization. You will collaborate closely with various engineering teams to optimize user workflows, making this a central position for someone passionate about automation, software-driven engineering, and high-performance industrial systems within a globally recognized company.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Professional experience with automated project generation or motion engineering is preferred
  • Experience in programming environments such as Visual Studio and TIA Openness
  • Experience in motion-related functional testing and configuration validation
