Job Summary

As a Service Technician for High Voltage Disconnectors, you will play a critical role in maintaining the infrastructure of the German energy transmission grid. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the assembly, disassembly, connection, and commissioning of high-voltage disconnectors ranging from 72.5 kV to 380 kV. You will also perform essential maintenance and repairs to ensure operational safety. This position offers a unique development path: you will receive two years of intensive on-the-job training under the guidance of experienced mentors, complemented by specialized manufacturer training, eventually leading to a role where you supervise your own service team. This role is ideal for an ambitious professional looking to specialize in high-voltage technology while working on impactful projects for major energy providers across Germany. You will be based in the Bochum area and must be prepared for nationwide travel.
