Job Summary

As a Commissioning Engineer for Large-Scale Energy Storage, you will play a pivotal role in the energy transition by managing the lifecycle of battery storage systems from installation to client handover. Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing system commissioning, configuring components, and establishing communication links using specialized software. You will act as the technical bridge to the programming department, conducting detailed error analyses and implementing software or configuration adjustments to optimize plant control systems. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrician, Electronics Technician, or Mechatronics Technician; alternatively, a Master Craftsman (Meister), Technician, or a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in inverter and battery technology
  • Practical experience in technical connection rules (TAR), process engineering, and automation
  • Demonstrated expertise in PLC programming and battery application scenarios (e.g., peak shaving, island grids, control power)
