Job Summary

The Medical Laboratory Rostock is seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist to join their automated laboratory team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will perform analytical tasks using state-of-the-art equipment in clinical chemistry, immunochemistry, hematology, and coagulation diagnostics. Your day-to-day responsibilities include sample preparation and assessment, equipment monitoring and maintenance, technical validation of results, and ensuring quality control compliance according to RILIBÄK standards. You will also participate in the implementation of new test procedures and specialized automated analytics such as HPLC-based HbA1c determination and capillary zone electrophoresis. The position is ideal for candidates with a background in laboratory sciences who are detail-oriented and thrive in a collaborative environment. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Medical Technologist for Laboratory Analytics (MTLA), Biological-Technical Assistant, Laboratory Technician, or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Natural or Biological Sciences.

Experience

  • Professional experience in laboratory analytics or diagnostic procedures
  • Experience with automated laboratory equipment and quality management systems
  • Experience in analytical process management and complex troubleshooting
