Job Summary
As a Product Manager for Patent Information at FIZ Karlsruhe, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of scientific and patent information services. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve conceptualizing and developing new features, functionalities, and user interfaces within the patent and chemistry information domain. You will conduct market and competitor analysis, manage quality assurance, and act as a bridge between research and development teams and the customer base. You will also represent the organization at conferences and support the customer service department. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in natural sciences or engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in science or engineering fields
- Professional experience with patent information or patent systems (ideally as a researcher)
- Professional experience in product and project management (ideally)
- Experience with AI methods such as Machine Learning and Large Language Models (ideally)

- Work permit for Germany required. The position is initially limited to two years with the intention of long-term collaboration. Full-time role with a part-time option available. Location: Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen.
