Job Summary

This role involves overseeing business process management (GPM) at the Berlin Fire and Rescue Service Academy. You will be responsible for establishing continuous process improvements, developing and maintaining a unified process manual, and collaborating with various controlling departments to analyze process requirements. A key part of your daily work will be supporting the implementation of a central quality management system and formulating training strategies based on strategic process analyses, including topics like resource management and sustainability. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in Public Administration or Economics, or qualification as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt/in) with the second administrative course (Verwaltungslehrgang II), or equivalent professional training with relevant experience.

Experience

  • Multi-year professional experience in process management and controlling
  • Experience in steering and developing organizational processes
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant administrative regulations and guidelines
  • Professional experience in public administration (for non-degree candidates, at least 5 years)

Additional

  • Must hold qualification for the higher non-technical administrative service (Laufbahngruppe 2, first entry office) for civil servants. Must provide proof of C1 German proficiency if German is not the native language. Role is based in Berlin.
