Job Summary

As an IT Systems Engineer for the Galileo Mission at BayCIX GmbH, you will play a critical role in maintaining the IT infrastructure of the European satellite navigation system. Based in Oberpfaffenhofen, you will work within a 2nd-level support team to ensure the high availability, security, and stability of the ground segment systems. Your daily responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving complex technical incidents, administering Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments, and managing system patches and upgrades. You will collaborate closely with Level 1 and Level 3 support teams, as well as international engineering partners, to optimize system performance and maintain technical documentation.
