Job Summary
As an AI Engineer at macs, you will play a pivotal role in evolving our established controlling and business intelligence software by integrating cutting-edge AI functionalities. Your day-to-day work involves designing and implementing LLM-based assistants and agents that automate routine tasks for controllers, such as forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting. You will bridge the gap between complex AI technology and end-user needs by building intuitive configuration interfaces, enabling non-technical users to leverage AI-driven workflows. Additionally, you will evaluate and integrate cloud-based AI solutions, mentor students on master's thesis projects, and establish internal best practices for AI development. This position is ideal for someone passionate about applying Agentic AI to real-world financial data in a collaborative, agile environment. You will work closely with product management and the development team to transform our platform, utilizing the latest Microsoft Azure technologies and tools to deliver proactive, data-driven assistance.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the development and deployment of AI solutions
- Proven experience focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs) or agentic systems
- Experience working with real-world data or productive AI implementations
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure
