Job Summary

As an IT Operations Support Specialist for the Galileo mission, you will play a critical role in maintaining the stability, security, and high availability of the ground segment infrastructure for Europe's satellite navigation system. Working at the Oberpfaffenhofen site, your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring IT systems, performing preventive maintenance, and executing Level-1 troubleshooting for both hardware and software. You will serve as a key point of contact for the support desk, coordinating complex incidents with Level-2 and Level-3 teams while ensuring all activities are accurately documented. This role requires a structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively within international teams.
