Job Summary
The Landkreis Wesermarsch is seeking a Digitalization Specialist to join the Planning and Building Inspection department. In this role, you will lead the digital transformation and modernization of administrative processes to improve services for both staff and citizens. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing current workflows, defining future-state processes, managing external service providers, and providing technical support and training to colleagues. You will also play a key role in the system administration of the specialized 'ProBauG' software. This position is ideal for an organized professional with a background in public administration, IT, or business informatics who is passionate about public sector modernization. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in General Administration, Administrative Informatics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related IT discipline; OR a completed vocational training in Information and Communication Technology (e.g., IT Specialist, IT System Technician); OR a completed 'Angestelltenlehrgang II' (Public Administration Certification).
Experience
- 3 years of professional experience in digitalization and administrative modernization, preferably within the public sector.
- Professional experience in project management is desirable.
- Professional experience in IT system administration or technical support.
