As an Environmental, Energy, and Information Security Engineer at the Thermal Recycling Plant Schwarza (TVS), you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, legal, and energy-efficient operation of a vital municipal facility. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing environmental and energy management systems, planning and conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as BImSchG and TA Luft. You will also be responsible for optimizing energy output, overseeing emissions monitoring, and driving the development of IT/OT security for the plant's processes. This position is ideal for an analytical professional looking to make a tangible impact on climate and resource protection within a stable, public-sector environment. You will collaborate across various departments, including IT and administration, and contribute to technical investment projects. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in the industrial, energy, or waste management sectors
  • Experience in managing audits, interacting with authorities, and working with certification bodies
  • Experience in information security and technical risk assessments
