Job Summary
As a Digitalization and IT Process Specialist (FAIT) at Ecovis, you will serve as a key point of contact for optimizing and digitizing financial accounting processes between the firm and its clients. Your daily responsibilities include connecting client data and systems, supporting digital transformation projects within the firm, and ensuring smooth collaboration on accounting tasks. You will work closely with clients to implement efficient digital solutions, requiring a blend of accounting expertise and a passion for IT process improvement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction and wants to drive technical progress in a tax consultancy environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Tax Specialist (Steuerfachangestellte:r) or equivalent commercial qualification. Successful completion of the 'Fibutroniker' or 'Fachassistent Digitalisierung und IT-Prozesse (FAIT)' certification is required.
Experience
- Professional experience as a Tax Specialist or in a comparable commercial role
- Proven expertise in financial accounting and preparation of VAT returns
- Demonstrated experience in digital process management and IT-supported accounting workflows

- Must be authorized to work in Germany. Position is based in Halle (Saale) and Leipzig.
