Job Summary

As an Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will play a vital role in the financial operations of the company. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing account statements and associated follow-up processes, executing payment transactions, and maintaining high-quality master data. You will be actively involved in month-end and year-end closing procedures, as well as performing general ledger entries, including accruals and recurring bookings. Additionally, you will handle fleet management tasks, support tax audits, and contribute to cash forecasting. This role also involves acting as a deputy for the department head in the accounts receivable section. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in finance or accounting, proficiency in SAP and MS Excel, and a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Tax Clerk (Steuerfachangestellter) or a comparable commercial qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in financial accounting or accounts receivable
  • Experience with SAP systems (ideally SAP R/3)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience in supporting tax audits or financial reporting
