Job Summary

As a Test Engineer for Electrical Systems, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of power electronic assemblies. Your daily responsibilities include conducting automated electrical function tests, planning and executing system tests within Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments, and deriving comprehensive test specifications from requirements. You will be responsible for developing new test methods, programming automated test procedures, and interpreting results to provide technical guidance to development teams and clients. The position requires a strong background in electrical engineering and practical experience in validating power electronics, ideally within the automotive sector. You will utilize industry-standard tools for requirements and task management, such as DOORS and JIRA, and work with various bus systems. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in testing and validation of power electronic components
  • Experience in automotive testing environments is considered a strong advantage
  • Practical experience with software and hardware test methodologies
  • Experience with automotive bus systems such as CAN, LIN, or FlexRay
  • Proficiency in requirements and task management software tools
