Job Summary

As a Senior Hardware Engineer at FERCHAU, you will play a pivotal role in the development of monitoring and diagnostic systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing analog and digital circuits, creating schematics and PCB layouts, and managing the entire prototyping process from assembly to functional testing. You will collaborate closely with software teams to develop hardware-near firmware and ensure all designs meet rigorous industrial standards for EMC and electrical safety. A key part of this role involves technical documentation, troubleshooting, and optimizing electronic circuits. You will also participate in cross-disciplinary projects, bridging the gap between mechanics, electronics, and software. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable discipline.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electronic circuit development and PCB design
  • Experience in hardware-near firmware development, specifically with C or C++
  • Proven experience with EMC-compliant circuit design and associated testing/optimization processes
  • Experience in the integration of mechanical and electrical sensors
  • Professional experience in technical documentation and quality assurance within an engineering context
