Job Summary

As a Project Manager for plant engineering in the energy sector, you will oversee the planning, construction, and commissioning of biogas and hydrogen injection plants, as well as the conversion of existing facilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for clients and subcontractors regarding electrical, measurement, and control (EMSR) issues, reviewing technical documentation such as circuit diagrams and control cabinet plans, and drafting specifications and tender documents. You will also contribute to process engineering, including P&ID development and automation design. The role requires a background in energy, electrical, or automation engineering and a proactive approach to project management. This position is unique because it offers the opportunity to directly contribute to the energy transition while providing significant flexibility, including remote work options, flexible hours, and a potential 4-day work week, all based in the scenic location of Murnau am Staffelsee.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree, technician certification, or master craftsman qualification (Meister) in energy, electrical, or automation engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in project management within the energy, electrical, or automation sectors.
  • Experience in the planning and construction of technical plants.
  • Experience in coordinating with clients and subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards such as DVGW and HOAI is preferred.
