As an Ethical Hacker specializing in IoT Security, you will play a critical role in securing industrial environments. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting independent penetration tests and security analyses on IoT and embedded systems, utilizing both White-Box and Black-Box methodologies. You will identify, assess, and document hardware and software vulnerabilities, develop realistic attack scenarios to simulate modern threats, and design robust test concepts based on international standards like IEC 62443 and ISO/SAE 21434. Beyond testing, you will act as a consultant to clients, advising on secure architecture development and conducting comprehensive security assessments. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Cybersecurity, IT Security, Information Security, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in penetration testing, ideally with a focus on IoT devices and industrial networks
  • In-depth expertise in analyzing security-critical systems and vulnerability assessment
  • Proven experience in developing test concepts aligned with industry standards such as IEC 62443
