Job Summary

As an Overhead Line System Officer based in Oberhausen, you will be crucial in ensuring the reliable availability of railway infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities will include conducting independent inspections of overhead line systems according to relevant guidelines, meticulously documenting findings using SAP R/3 Netz and the SPI-App. You will manage and process various tasks and orders, such as inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of overhead line components, all while focusing on cost-efficiency. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance to individual team members and oversee construction projects related to the modification, new construction, or dismantling of railway systems. This role demands a proactive approach, strong technical skills, and a commitment to operational safety and punctuality, often requiring readiness for night and weekend shifts, including on-call duty.
