Job Summary
The GSI - Gesellschaft für Schweißtechnik International mbH is seeking an Instructor and Inspector for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to join their SLV Munich branch. In this dual-function role, you will lead theoretical and practical training sessions in NDT methods (VT, MT, PT, RT, and UT) for participants, while also providing expert consultation. Additionally, you will perform and document non-destructive testing within an accredited laboratory environment and during field assignments, ensuring compliance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards. The position requires a background in metal technology and NDT Level 2 certification. You will be responsible for maintaining testing equipment and updating educational materials. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree in a metal-technical field; NDT Level 2 certification (DIN EN ISO 9712) in one or more methods (VT, MT, PT, RT, or UT).
Experience
- Professional experience in metal technology required via completed vocational training or degree.
- Professional experience in adult education and knowledge transfer is highly desirable.
- Practical experience in performing non-destructive testing (NDT) according to established norms.
- Experience in laboratory environments or field service inspection work.
