PLC Programmer for Warehouse Machines | SPS-Programmierer (m/w/d) für Lagermaschinen

Job Summary

This role involves taking the lead in developing PLC software, specifically for warehouse machinery. You'll be responsible for emulating the software in-house before commissioning, then overseeing the full commissioning process of systems up to final acceptance, and initiating optimization efforts. A key part of the role also includes creating essential technical documentation, such as functional descriptions and operating manuals, and preparing and delivering customer training. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in automation technology or mechatronics, or a background in electrical engineering, coupled with solid professional experience in PLC programming (TIA) and commissioning. Experience with inverters (SEW Movi-C) and industry knowledge in warehouse technology, particularly stacker cranes, is also crucial. This position requires strong communication skills in both German and English and a willingness to travel up to 60%.
