Job Summary
As a Product Development Specialist at IBL International (part of the Tecan Group), you will play a key role in the development of in-vitro diagnostic products. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing projects for new diagnostic immunoassays, guiding technical staff, and independently planning and executing measurements. You will be responsible for creating technical documentation in accordance with strict Quality Management (QM) regulations, conducting literature and patent research, and collaborating across departments such as Project Management, Production, and Quality Control. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in biology or biotechnology. You will work in a dynamic, international environment that values autonomy and initiative. Required Skills
Education
Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biology, Biotechnology, or a comparable degree.
Experience
- Professional experience in method development and validation
- Professional experience with ELISA or comparable assays
- Professional experience handling biological samples such as serum, plasma, saliva, and urine
- Professional experience in the development and technical documentation of in-vitro diagnostic products
- Professional experience working under ISO 13485 or GMP conditions

- Valid work permit for Germany required. Position is project-based and fixed-term for three years.
