Job Summary

As a Senior IT System Administrator, you will manage and maintain robust IT infrastructures, focusing on Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Entra ID hybrid environments. Your day-to-day responsibilities include administering Windows Servers, Active Directory, and GPOs, alongside deploying and managing endpoints via Microsoft Intune. You will oversee server virtualization (Hyper-V, Proxmox, ESXi), manage network security including firewalls (Sophos, pfSense, Fortinet) and networking hardware (Aruba, UniFi, Meraki), and handle VoIP solutions. A key part of your role is leveraging PowerShell to automate routine tasks. You will provide on-site support to clients, primarily in the Rhine-Neckar region with occasional travel. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in IT service provider environments, possesses strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to management, and is proficient in both German and English.
