Job Summary
The Technical Research Assistant will join the Center for Bone, Joint and Soft Tissue Research at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus Dresden to support the DLR-funded '3DBioprint' project. This role focuses on practical experimental work, specifically involving 3D bioprinting and investigating the effects of microgravity on human tissue models. Key daily responsibilities include cultivating mammalian cells following good laboratory practice, preparing biopolymer blends for 3D printing, performing cell analysis such as microscopy and gene expression analysis, and managing laboratory documentation and organization. The position requires a precise, structured, and team-oriented individual with experience in cell culture and S1 laboratory environments. Education
Completed vocational training as a Technical Assistant (BTA, CTA, LTA, or equivalent qualification).

- Must hold a recognized qualification as a Technical Assistant (BTA/CTA/LTA). The position is initially limited to 16 months with an intended 24-month extension. Work is subject to the TV-L collective agreement for the public sector.
