Job Summary
As an SAP Consultant MM at the Frankfurt Transport Authority (VGF), you will play a pivotal role in the digital transformation of our IT landscape. Your primary responsibility involves migrating our existing SAP ECC 6.0 system to S/4HANA, with a specific focus on the Materials Management (MM) module. Following the migration, you will provide comprehensive support, continuous development, and optimization of SAP MM and SAP Ariba, ensuring seamless integration with adjacent systems. You will act as a consultant to internal departments, translating business requirements into technical solutions through expert customizing and interface management. This role is ideal for an experienced SAP professional who thrives on project-based work, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and is passionate about shaping the future of urban mobility in Frankfurt. You will coordinate external service providers, conduct user training, and maintain high standards of IT governance and system reliability in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Logistics, or a comparable IT-related field; alternatively, a professional qualification as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) with relevant practical experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in an SAP environment
- Proven expertise in SAP MM (ECC and/or S/4HANA) including procurement, inventory management, and warehouse management
- Experience in project-based work and technical implementation
- Experience in coordinating external IT service providers
- Experience in PP, SD, or FI/CO modules is considered a plus
