Job Summary
As an IT Support Specialist at Wald und Holz NRW, you will play a vital role in maintaining the technical infrastructure for a state-run forestry organization. Your day-to-day responsibilities include providing comprehensive user support, troubleshooting technical issues, managing client systems, deploying software packages, and controlling access to network resources. You will act as the primary point of contact for staff, ensuring that their workstations—including PCs, printers, and mobile devices—are fully operational. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT System Electronics Technician, IT System Management Assistant, IT Specialist for System Integration, IT Specialist for Application Development, or as an Administrative Specialist (Angestelltenlehrgang I). Alternatively, a commercial education with at least one year of relevant professional experience in IT support.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in PC workstation administration based on Microsoft Windows
- Professional experience in customer-oriented troubleshooting and ticket management
- Professional experience in IT service desk operations for end-users
- Experience supporting standard IT environments including LAN, VPN, and mobile communication devices

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Must not have been previously employed by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (Land Nordrhein-Westfalen). Position is temporary (befristet).
