Job Summary
As a Senior Datacenter Engineer, you will serve as a critical link between building technology (TGA) and IT operations, ensuring the absolute stability and high availability of electrical infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and optimizing power systems—including medium and low voltage, UPS, and backup power—while managing complex retrofits in live environments without service interruption. You will implement DCIM systems, perform load flow and network analyses, and maintain world-class PUE values. This role requires a blend of theoretical engineering expertise and hands-on pragmatic problem-solving. You will be responsible for the operational safety of mission-critical infrastructure, striving for 99.999% availability. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or equivalent qualification as a state-certified technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker).
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering, energy technology, or as a state-certified technician
- Extensive experience in engineering and maintaining critical electrical infrastructure
- Experience with live-environment retrofits and system upgrades
- Proven track record in analytical decision-making and operational responsibility for high-availability systems

- Valid Class B driver's license, willingness to travel within Southern Germany, availability for on-call duties outside standard business hours, and authorization to work in Germany.
