Job Summary

As a Construction Site Manager for fiber optic civil engineering at Deutsche Telekom Tiefbau GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Germany's fiber optic network. You will lead a team of approximately 18 employees, including civil engineering specialists, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction sites. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing technical, scheduling, and financial targets, ensuring high-quality trenching and pipe-laying, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations. You will act as the primary contact for authorities and stakeholders, conduct quality control, and manage personnel development. This position is unique as it involves working directly for a new subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, contributing to a massive national infrastructure project. The role requires a blend of technical civil engineering expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage budgets effectively. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering (Construction focus preferred), or a completed vocational training in a relevant field combined with several years of professional experience.
