As a Hardware Engineer in the automotive sector, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of electronic solutions. Your daily tasks involve analyzing system requirements, designing hardware schematics, and defining hardware architectures with a focus on cost, performance, and reliability. You will perform critical simulations, including tolerance and worst-case analyses, to ensure long-term robustness for automotive applications. Additionally, you will support PCB layout design, prototype assembly, and hardware bring-up activities. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, compliant solutions that meet international OEM standards. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in analog and digital hardware design
  • Practical experience in power electronics including DC/DC converters, load switches, and bridge drivers
  • Experience with schematic design tools such as Altium Designer
  • Familiarity with German and international OEM standards and requirements
