Job Summary
The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is seeking an IT Specialist to manage and develop network and communication infrastructure in Bonn or Berlin. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, ongoing development, documentation, and monitoring of secure local and cross-site data networks, as well as IP-based telephony and video systems. You will also take on the leadership of small IT projects and coordinate external service providers. This position is ideal for a professional looking to contribute to critical government infrastructure within a stable public service environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, or Telecommunications Engineering; or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in the planning and administration of network and communication infrastructures (minimum 3 years if no degree)
- Experience in leading IT projects
- Experience in coordinating service providers
- Experience with network products such as routers and switches

- Must pass a security clearance (Ü2) according to the Security Clearance Act (SÜG); willingness to work in Bonn or Berlin; willingness to travel between office locations.
