Job Summary

As an IT Operations Change Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the digital transformation of the German Armed Forces. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the conceptual steering, coordination, and support of technical and process-related changes within IT operating units. You will analyze current structures and processes, develop new formats for collaboration, and facilitate in-house workshops and training sessions. Furthermore, you will act as a key interface for stakeholder management, report on the impact and acceptance of changes, and provide functional coordination for team members. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, structured project management, and strong communication skills. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of IT services, making this a highly impactful position that directly contributes to the security and digital readiness of Germany's critical infrastructure.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree or comparable professional training in the field of IT and/or Business Administration.

Experience

  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience in executing and managing IT-related changes
  • Long-term experience in facilitating workshops and training, including at the management level
  • Experience in the functional coordination of employees is considered an advantage

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • High willingness to travel required. Position is based in Munich or Bonn. Candidates must be able to perform in a high-responsibility environment supporting federal defense infrastructure.
