As a Test Engineer for Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics, you will play a pivotal role in the development of medical technology. Your daily responsibilities include conducting electrical and mechatronic tests on components, building and commissioning prototypes, and developing specialized test setups. You will be responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting prototypes in close collaboration with the development team, as well as planning and documenting functional and endurance tests. A key focus of this role is the continuous improvement of test methodologies and the implementation of semi-automated testing processes. You will coordinate laboratory environments and ensure high-quality documentation within a regulated industry. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field. Qualification as a certified electrician (Elektrofachkraft) is mandatory.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in building and testing mechatronic prototypes.
  • Practical experience in planning and implementing test and experimental facilities.
  • Experience in the medical technology industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience with standards, safety requirements, and documentation in regulated environments is an advantage.
