Job Summary
As a Chip-Level Technician at CTDI Europe in Sömmerda, you will play a vital role in our sustainability mission by repairing and refurbishing complex communication equipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the independent diagnosis, disassembly, and repair of electronic components and assemblies down to the chip level, strictly following IPC-610 standards. You will utilize your expertise to read schematics, perform troubleshooting, conduct rigorous test runs, and document all repair processes and quality data within our IT systems. We are looking for a professional with a strong background in electrical engineering and hands-on experience in hardware repair. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, technically proficient with measurement equipment, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in electrical engineering (e.g., Communication Electronics Technician) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the repair of electronic assemblies and technical devices
- Professional experience in hardware and software diagnostics
- Experience in applying selective soldering techniques

- Work permit for Germany required. Position is initially limited to 12 months with the option for a permanent contract.
