Job Summary
As the Technical Director, you will hold overall responsibility for the technical planning, management, and oversight of FTTH/FTTB telecommunications projects. You will lead both internal teams and external subcontractors, ensuring that all projects adhere to strict quality, timeline, and budget standards. Your day-to-day work involves evaluating technical concepts, conducting on-site quality inspections, and acting as the primary technical point of contact for clients, municipalities, and regulatory authorities. Beyond project execution, you will serve as a key operational assistant to the executive management, providing technical analysis and supporting strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for an experienced leader with a hands-on approach who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. You will play a pivotal role in shaping technical standards and processes while directly contributing to the expansion of critical fiber-optic infrastructure in the Nahe-Hunsrück region.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training or a university degree in Telecommunications, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in fiber-optic expansion (FTTH/FTTB).
- Proven experience in a leadership position is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in managing civil engineering processes and telecommunications infrastructure projects.
- Experience in collaborating with executive management on strategic and operational decision-making processes.
