Job Summary

As an Engineering Manager for Backend Infrastructure, you will lead a platform team responsible for critical services including Identity & Access Management (IAM), mailing systems, and backend architecture. The role begins with hands-on technical involvement, requiring you to dive deep into the codebase—specifically utilizing Golang and PHP—to understand the infrastructure before transitioning into a full people management capacity. You will be responsible for defining technical standards, maintaining the shop monolith, and developing tooling that empowers other teams to build services efficiently. Key responsibilities include advancing team members' careers, monitoring KPIs like SLAs and SLIs, and ensuring high-quality delivery within the Developer Experience area.
