Job Summary

As the Head of Energy Systems at HOCHBAHN, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing the energy infrastructure for Hamburg's subway network. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of approximately 60 professionals, including craftspeople, maintenance staff, and project managers. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve overseeing the entire lifecycle of energy systems—from new construction and renewal to ongoing maintenance—while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. You will manage budgets, resources, and complex project phases (LPh 1-9) while serving as the primary liaison with authorities, grid operators, and engineering firms.
