Job Summary
The municipality of Priestewitz is seeking a part-time Municipal Energy Manager to establish and implement a comprehensive energy management system over a three-year period. In this role, you will be responsible for the systematic collection, analysis, and monitoring of energy consumption data across municipal buildings. Your day-to-day tasks will involve managing heating controls, reporting energy performance to municipal decision-makers, and facilitating communication between administrative staff, facility managers, and building users. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in public administration or technical building services (HVAC) who possesses strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to energy efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the municipality’s energy strategy, working within a collaborative team environment to ensure sustainable building operations.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed vocational training as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r) or a degree/vocational training in Supply Engineering, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Sanitary systems (HVAC) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in public administration or technical facility management
- Demonstrated experience in structured data monitoring and reporting
- Experience in collaborating with diverse stakeholders including administrative staff and technical personnel

- Valid driver's license (Class B/PKW). This is a part-time position (20 hours/week) with a fixed-term contract for 3 years.
