Job Summary
This role involves serving as the technical lead for the High-Power Electronics Laboratory at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich. You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and strategic expansion of laboratory facilities, specifically focusing on medium-voltage power electronics (up to 20kV) for renewable energy and electromobility research. Day-to-day tasks include designing test benches, specifying components, implementing safety protocols, and supporting scientific experiments. You will also oversee procurement processes and ensure compliance with national and international health and safety standards. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (B.Sc. or Dipl.-Ing.) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering or related fields
- Experience in the operation and/or construction of high-voltage or high-power test benches is advantageous
- Practical experience with cooling systems, printed circuit boards, and measurement technology
