Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer specializing in EPLAN P8, you will play a critical role in the technical development of complex automation and control systems. Your daily responsibilities include creating detailed circuit, wiring, and assembly diagrams while ensuring compliance with international standards such as EN 60204-1 and EN 81346. You will be responsible for the dimensioning of electrical components, integrating PLC and fieldbus systems, and managing technical documentation for CE conformity. This role offers a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to work within international teams on technically challenging projects. You will collaborate closely with project management, suppliers, and clients, while also contributing to the maintenance of EPLAN macros and standard libraries. The position is ideal for a structured, solution-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic engineering environment and is committed to high-quality technical standards.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field.

Experience

Professional experience in electrical planning and construction
Experience with norm-compliant technical documentation according to European standards
Experience in the field of switchgear, control, and automation technology
Experience in supporting commissioning and technical modifications
