Job Summary

As a Grid Planning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing complex construction and customer projects involving civil engineering and the installation of low and medium voltage power lines (up to 25 kV). Your day-to-day responsibilities include planning construction and maintenance measures in accordance with HOAI and VOB standards, overseeing project initiation, cost estimation, and material procurement. You will act as the primary liaison with authorities to secure necessary permits and coordinate effectively with external service providers and stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for comprehensive project documentation. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in electrical engineering or energy supply who excels at managing technical projects from planning through to execution. The role offers a unique opportunity to shape critical infrastructure projects within a structured environment, with the added benefit of a potential permanent placement following an initial temporary assignment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Energy Supply, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in power grid planning, preferably within civil engineering
  • Proven experience with low and medium voltage network systems
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and construction planning
  • Experience working with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders
