Job Summary
As a Process Engineer at our Weimar location, you will play a pivotal role in the Glatt Process Technology division, focusing on food, feed, and fine chemicals. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve planning, executing, and evaluating technical trials in our technology center, primarily at the laboratory scale. You will guide projects from initial feasibility studies and formulation development through to successful industrial implementation. A key aspect of the role is providing expert consultation to clients on material and process-related topics, which will require direct interaction and on-site visits. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time while maintaining strict adherence to safety and operational standards. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a comparable technical/scientific field.
Experience
- Professional experience in process engineering, mechanical engineering, food technology, chemistry, or biotechnology.
- Experience in thermal and mechanical process engineering.
- Experience in particle technology (preferred).
- Experience in managing projects from laboratory scale to industrial implementation.
